Ellen Regan

Ellen Regan brings a multi-faceted talent and experience to her teaching. Her wide range of roles in various

mediums serves the student well.

Theatrically trained, Ellen had extensive experience in film and television in Los Angeles. Under contracts to both

studios and networks, her credits include several major roles as series regulars, as well as recurring roles on wellestablished

series such as "Taxi". And in two episodes of "Cheers", she even had the dubious distinction of being

the first woman ever to turn down Sam Malone! Just a sample of some other guest star credits can be found on

such shows as "Lou Grant", "Remington Steele", and "Little House on the Prairie". She also has numerous Series

Pilots to her credit for all three major networks.

Prior to LA, Ellen built a firm foundation for her work with her theatre training. Her B.A. is in Theatre Arts. She

was fortunate to spend time at one of America's premier regional repertory theatres, the American

Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. Afterwards, she returned to the Midwest to work in regional theatre there.

She distinguished herself in roles such as Elvira in "Blithe Spirit", Cherie in "Bus Stop" and Mary in "Mary,

Mary". Musicals were also part of her repertoire. She did leads in such shows as "She Loves Me", "Guys and

Dolls" and "I Do, I Do!", which turned into the longest running show in the State of Wisconsin at that

time. "I Do, I Do!" was the springboard for her LA career when it was seen by a Hollywood writer and Producer.

Now, having come home and after having raised her two children, Ellen is returning to her calling. She affords her

students the wealth of her experience, knowledge and talent as she prepares them for their own careers.
